What should I bring to Movement Flow Fest? Be sure to bring a change of clothes and warm workout clothes for the indoor gym if it gets cold. You can participate in the workshops wearing indoor shoes, socks, or barefoot. For the parkour workshop, you'll need flexible outdoor shoes. A water bottle and snacks of your choice. If you want coffee or tea, bring your own mug. If you have one, bring a yoga mat. If you want to get cozy in between classes, bring a blanket and pillow. If you play an instrument, you can bring it for the live music jam on Saturday evening – the jam is acoustic, without much amplification.
What's the catering like on-site? Food is included in the festival! There will be lovingly prepared vegetarian and vegan food – with hot meals and a varied salad buffet. Coffee and tea will be available. So, you'll be sure to have plenty of energy and enjoyment. If you'd like to book a ticket without food, use the contact form and send an email!
Can I shower on-site? Of course, there are showers in the gymnasiums that we can use.
Where do the workshops take place? The location for the Movement Flow Fest 2025 is the Waldorf School in Darmstadt-Eberstadt. The workshops will take place in the small sports hall, the large sports hall, and the old hall, depending on the number of participants. We meet every day after a warm-up in the large hall, where all of the day's workshops will be presented.
Who is eligible to attend the Movement Flow Fest? Anyone who enjoys movement and is curious to try new forms of movement. The workshops are designed to appeal to both beginners and advanced practitioners. The festival is intended for people ages 12 and up. There is no children's program or childcare. If you would like to bring children, please contact us using the contact form. Unfortunately, the venue is not wheelchair accessible, but there are many friendly people available to help overcome barriers.

How can I get there? Is there parking available on-site? Yes, there are limited parking spaces directly at the Waldorf School Darmstadt Eberstadt. However, we recommend using public transportation or carpooling if possible.
Can I leave my van in the parking lot overnight? Yes, you can leave your van overnight in the Waldorf School Darmstadt Eberstadt parking lot. Please note that the number of parking spaces is limited and no special security measures are in place.
Is there a way to safely store my valuables? There are no special lockers or secure storage facilities for valuables on-site. We therefore recommend leaving valuable items at home if possible or carrying them with you at all times.

What's included in the ticket? Your ticket includes participation in all workshops, evening events, access to all festival areas, and a full helping of Flow! Two hot meals are served on Saturday and Sunday, and one hot meal on Sunday.
Is there an awareness approach? Yes. We want to create a mindful, safe, and open space for everyone. This includes mutual respect, voluntary participation, and loving interaction – at all levels.
Can I only attend the evening events? Separate tickets for the evening events will be available shortly before the festival starts. This way, you can attend the jam and performance, for example, even if you're not attending the festival during the day.
I want to help - are there discounted tickets for volunteers? Yes! If you would like to support us at the festival, you will receive a significantly discounted ticket - depending on the time you commit. We are looking for volunteers for, for example, setup and teardown | keeping things clean and tidy | chill room and equipment maintenance | assisting with food distribution...etc.
