About Us

Stefanie Rose, founder and team

I've had this dream for many years: a festival that brings together everything I love about movement and spirit. And now it's become a reality! The Movement Flow Fest is a vibrant, vibrant place where diverse workshops and inspiring teachers come together to share their joy and knowledge.

Last year, I organized the first Movement Flow Fest on the Osthang in Darmstadt, in memory of a dear friend. From the moment I decided to plan the festival, everything began to flow. The turnout was greater than I ever expected, and the response was overwhelming. So many people asked if there would be a follow-up. I had originally planned to keep it just for one festival. But the enthusiasm of the participants and their many requests for another festival convinced me that it simply had to continue.

What particularly touched me was the incredible support I received from so many sides. Without these helping hands, a second festival would have been impossible. This support gave me the energy and motivation to keep going and think even bigger. The team consists of enthusiastic movers and shakers who share my passion for movement and community.

And now the time has come: The second Movement Flow Fest is just around the corner! This time, it's not just one day, but two days in the Darmstadt area. It will be a colorful, vibrant festival full of movement, encounters, and inspiration. A place where we can dance, laugh, learn, and celebrate the diversity of movement together.

In the world of movement, I've found something as colorful and diverse as I've always wanted to be. It's a world where everyone is welcome and that offers exactly what I was looking for. This colorful diversity and constant development are what fascinate me about movement, and what I want to share with you all. What makes the festival special is that there will be live music during various workshops, creating a unique atmosphere and intensifying the connection between music and movement.

Movement has been a part of my life since childhood. I started gymnastics at the age of six and expanded my experience with ballet, handball, Shinson Hapkido, Capoeira, and yoga. My passion for dance led me to a BA in Social Work with a focus on psychomotor skills and certification as a yoga and acro yoga instructor.

I was particularly enthusiastic about AcroYoga, so I also trained in handstands, breakdancing, soft acrobatics, parkour, floorwork, Axis Syllabus, authentic movement and Thai yoga massage.

I have been active in contact improvisation since 2010 and have initiated creative projects such as the forest art platform and my first CI performance project.

Since 2011, I have been teaching classes in dance, yoga, acro yoga, and other movement arts.

My experience also includes psychomotor programs for elementary school children and children's circus projects. As the founder of MovementArt-Darmstadt, I organize workshops and courses, supported by a team specializing in AcroYoga, Contact Improv, Handstand, Floorwork, and Soft Acrobatics.

Come along and let yourself be carried away by the magic of flow!
