MOVEMENT, CREATIVITY, COMMUNITY
3/4/5 October 2026
in Darmstadt Eberstadt
The Movement Flow Fest is back for its fourth year!
A weekend brimming with movement, connection, and inspiration. Our festival thrives on diversity—different approaches to movement, perspectives, and people coming together to explore, learn, and connect.
Experience workshops from a wide range of disciplines: from floorwork, locomotion, and parkour to handstands, acrobatic play, and partner work, all the way to somatics, bodywork, and improvisation. Immerse yourself in formats like Movement Flow, Movement Play, or Acrobatics Lab and discover new ways to move, feel, and express yourself. All workshops are held in extended sessions, allowing you to truly immerse yourself, gain understanding, and develop your own unique approach.
On Saturday evening, the space comes alive with live music and an open jam session. Sunday culminates in a vibrant performance evening—a shared highlight full of expression, creativity, and surprises. Our instructors will guide you through the sessions, creating spaces where learning, experimentation, and growth can emerge naturally.
The festival thrives on the energy of the community – on moving, sharing, and growing together. At its heart is your sense of your body: perceiving, letting go, experimenting, and creating new connections.
The Waldorf School in Darmstadt-Eberstadt provides the perfect space for this – tranquil, open, and imbued with a special atmosphere. Come and be a part of it!

MOVEMENT FLOW GENERATOR
Create your own little movement session with the MOVEMENT FLOW GENERATOR!
There are three categories: posture, movement, and attention. You can use just one category as the basis for designing your movement session, use two categories, or even combine all three. Experiment to see which categories spark your playful side.
Use the buttons to draw new cards and be inspired to try movements you may never have attempted before. Combine the categories and let your body move intuitively. Move for as long as you like, then draw a new card. Drawing just one new card can be wonderful, but you can also swap out several categories at once.
This game invites you to experience movement as art, exploration, and rest. There is no right or wrong. Follow your perception. Have fun!
Categories:
Posture: The posture you adopt forms the starting point for your movement. However, you can also change it depending on the movement and your attention.
Movement: The movement card dictates which movement you play with. Feel and think anew each time.
Attention: Once you have found a movement in your posture, concentrate on the given aspect and consciously engage your attention – this creates a high-quality movement experience.
